THE VISIBLE VOICE TO PROVIDE CONCISE  CLINICALLY RELEVANT INFORMATION

The Visible Voice (VV) is a both a new and an old idea. I  published a similar newsletter in the 1990s. But when the Internet became popular, I decided that the VV could be replaced with web-based articles that could be retrieved on demand. That worked well for a long time; however at present, the volume of information on the web has become so massive, patchy, and fragmented that web-based medical information has become unreliable. It is often now difficult to distinguish advertising, marketing, and misinformation from the good stuff. The purpose of the VV is to promote medical education and interdisciplinary communication. I hope that readers find the information concise and useful. The VV is free by email.  J. Koufman, M.D., Editor-In-Chief (jamie@voiceinstituteny.com)
